‘I decided to study Human Resource Management because of the diversity of roles that would be available to me at the completion of my degree. The scope of human resources within a business is vast. Human resources provides the unique opportunity to partner with the business to assist employees to reach their potential and have a fulfilling work life.
I decided to undertake my Bachelor of Management (Human Resource Management) at the University of South Australia because it provided a broad subject area and allowed me exposure to a diverse range of topics. The ability to tailor the later years of the degree to specific areas of interest allowed me to explore where I would take my career. The University provided much support and resources throughout my studies.
Since completing my degree I have worked in various industries working in a generalist human resource capacity. I feel that my degree provided me with a great foundation to enable me to be a strong and successful human resource professional.’
