Designed in consultation with industry professionals, this program provides early-career professionals with the advanced knowledge and skills to qualify for professional practice as a manager in international businesses. Learn through real-life case studies, graduates will gain the knowledge and expertise to address today's global business challenges.

You will study topics including international business strategy, international trade, marketing across borders, and international human resource management. A range of international business experience projects are also embedded in the program and you will have the opportunity to gain a global perspective with overseas study options.

In addition, you can select one of five capstone experience courses, which focus on different aspects of international business. The International MBA (Tourism and Event Management) will develop your strategic and critical thinking skills, research ability, and develop international management skills, as well as autonomy and accountability. Upon completion, you will be equipped to pursue a managerial career in organisations ranging from departments of foreign affairs and international trade within governments across the globe, to multinational enterprises and consulting companies.

From festivals and events to hotels and sporting venues, international career opportunities in tourism and event management exist in a range of professional fields. Studying festivals and events, tourism sustainability, exhibition management and international tourism the International MBA (Tourism and Event Management) will equip you to respond to today’s global business environment.

Advanced Standing
Applicants may be eligible to enter the program with Advanced Standing and complete the requirements of the Masters in less than 2 years. Please see the entry requirements for further details.
