Major, Minor, Sub-Major
The Recreation Management major allows students to explore and understand the importance of recreation in society and equip them with knowledge that will assist them in the role of recreation planners and officers. Graduates often find work within government bodies and departments, in particular local councils. Recreation Management incorporates courses such as recreation and wellness management, leisure concepts, recreation planning and recreation and sport event programming to provide students with a thorough background to recreation in contemporary society.
