Course aim

To develop the student’s knowledge and understanding of the fundamental physical principles underpinning Medical Radiation.

Course content

Mathematics for radiology; Fundamentals of physics; Mechanics; The atom; Electromagnetic radiation; Electricity and magnetism; Electromagnetism; Radiation detectors; Radiation biology; Radiation protection.
